you could be the only one in the world with a vinyl roof,if you glued vinyl up there. I was popular on cars in the 70s

Morning all, I have recently treated some surface rust spots on my Disco but this has left it looking pretty rough. I don't want to go down th respray route so does anyone have any ideas what I could cover it with? Was thinking of specific cut checker plate but unsure as to weight etc...
Thanks guys and gals

Nice thought, hmmmmmm, brown tartan? Could be a goer I reckon. ;-)

Some conveniently placed stickers!
Or a large vinyl transfer covering the whole roof a bit like the ones seen advertising on buses.

Put a 4 " lift on the car and some big tyres....then no one should be able to see the roof..... Unless of course you fall over!...

If I may ask where is the rust specifically. What do you want to achieve. Is it blisters or just rust showing through the paint? Do you have a sunroof?
I have disco 1, which is rust challenged in odd places. Slowly working my way about it.
Only asking that it is unlikely that the rust would start from the outside.

Rust on the top, recently had lining out to fix sunroof, no rust on inside so it is def external only. Just wanting to neaten it up really as I'm a bit anal like that :-)
