Does anyone in Oz stock that mesh grille for a D1? My plastic grille is badly cracked and I'd love to replace it with something better.

Genuine very rare Land Rover Discovery 94-99 Mesh Grille - DHB102590LML | eBay

Don't know if they would post to Oz or not. I'd be happy to post it out to you for cost price but I guess the postage would be a lot higher than the cost of the grille.

Wow! Thanks for that. I'll check the local prices this week. Might be able to get one from a wreck, although it won't have the mesh of course. A while back I bought a mesh grille cover that fits over the grille, but the plastic top of the grille has cracked at the screw holes.

I saw those Saudi Grilles on UK eBAY the other day but was put off by the 55GBP shipping cost. I sent an email asking if the VAT was still payable as that would help knock the price down.
Anyway considering they are a rare as hens teeth these days they are a good buy either way. I could not find any a few months back so bought a second hand one of the same blue colour as my Disco and chopped the front out and fitted some mesh. Looks similar but much less hassle to buy the real thing.
The only thing with the original is that are all black so would need to paint if worried about how it looks.
    Cheers

Having the mesh grille piece to fit over the standard grille would achieve the same result for me except that the grille is cracked, as I said above, so once the budget recovers a bit from its current state I might try to find a second hand grille here.
