Apparently there are a few, IIRC only auto ones ?
All the ones I've seen are full mechanical injection with a diaphragm type boost compensator.
Are any series 1 300Tdi's engines in Aus electronically controlled? Or are they simple to just replace intercoolers with aftermarket ones and vary the fuel manually?

we never got the electronically adjusted pumps... just the old school springs and bellows stuff down here.

I believe that we did get some very late 300tdi's with that stuff and crap on it as previously mentionedor personal import
Ah, good to know. If I got a bigger intercooler, would this fit you reckon?

I have an auto but surely I can just move the tranny cooler.
I have seen personal import ones with the electronic pump control, but no Australian delivered ones.
I believe mine is one, mine was a personel import. 97 disco. Had the bits removed by JC. Has had fuel screwed up and also a bigger intercooler. Manual gear change
cheers
