    Roof Load Limit

    Can anyone tell me what the roof load limit is on the disco series 1?? I am thinking of putting a small tinny on the roof.

    Has anyone put a tinny loader on the roof and was it successfull ???

    From memory i think it is a 100kgs.

    We have an older steel tradesman rack that is around 60kg and a rooftop tent 40kg along with a rack sack that is usually full of gear at around 30kg. Been that way for over 10 years without incident and when stationary add two adults at 160kg total so all up 290kg. I think Landrover specified 50kg max at the time we bought the Disco but that was with the standard roof rails.
    I'd say between 100-120KG is a good maximum weight if you want to avoid excessive body roll.
