    Kaput coil.....

    Hi All,need to replace the coil in "The Wombat",just wondering on options if there is any or just go for a new LR one??Wombat is a 3.9 running dual fuel at present.Any ideas will be greatly appreciated.Thanks

    I've been through 3 coils recently. Mine is also on Gas. The first original bosch one was stuffed so replaced it with a second hand original and that went a short time later so got an aftermarket one (black with red top), that one went after 500km so it was swapped for a silver Lucas one. So far so good, fingers crossed. I have replaced all the other ignition components so if this one fails I'll be looking at Beeutey's conversion. I also have a spare coil kept in the car ready incase.

    PM me if you want a used original LR Bosch coil, cost of postage only, or a complete Bosch coil & amp conversion kit.

    Hi go with Bee-Utey pm him chat to him about his coil amp conversion Ive just done one with his help and cant fault it he is a whiz when it comes to electric problems
