Thread: 3 child seats in 2nd row of a D1?

Hi everyone,

Just looking to hear about experiences (success or otherwise) trying to fit 3 forward-facing child seats into the 2nd row of a 96/97 D1??

I've read that it can be done in the D2, but do the wheel arches in the D1 allow 3 seats across?

I know there's 3 anchor points, but that doesn't necessarily mean that the seats will fit!

yes 3 seats will fit across a D1 but they have to have the right base type.

The one time I did it I had to shuffle the 2 seats that are normally in the car around to put the wide based one in the middle.
