on the prop shaft of my 95 300tdi, over the sliding part is a plastic cap,cover, I presume to keep dirt out. Mine keeps popping off where it is supposed to sit, stay on, I push it back on but then it pops off again.
anyone else have/had the same problem or know what a good fix is?

I went with the latter suggestion, I used a plastic cable tie, seems to work ok
