    Muddies Rubbing

Well I finally lashed out and bought myself some 235x85R16 muddies. Boy, do they make a difference in the sand.

Only problem, is that on full lock the inside back rear of each front tyre rubs against the front trailing arm.

Is there a quick fix for this, or do I just have to be careful not to go full lock?

    TIA

    That's an easy fix.

Kneel down in front of the front tyres and have a look at the front of the wheels in the middle, near the CV.

You should see a big bolt that when on full lock stops the opposite side tyre from hitting the trailing arm.

When you turn to full lock this bolt just hits the trailing arm mount on the diff and you can't turn any further.

Simply unscrew this bolt a bit further out on both sides until when you turn full lock the tyres don't rub anymore.

Try not to wind the stops (bolts) out too far, as every little bit out reduces your turning circle more.

    <10min job - easy.

Its the simpliest fix there is. I run 35's and dont rub anymore although a 3 point turn has turned into a 5 point lol
