Hi,
just purchased a series 1 1999 (i think it was actaully made in 98 though) Discovery 3.9 V8 Manual on Gas .
I have been looking for months and finally came across a nice clean car. Have put down deposit and just about to get RACV to look over it - purchase is based on inspection.
I'm just wanting to ask what I need to look out for with this model. I understand from a couple of searches and research that this was the last of the series 1 model made. Im assuming ( and its a big assumtion ) that in the series one by 99 they would have ironed out alot of the problems.???...I say this cautiously though.
Just want to know from some specialists (you guys and gals on here) what the good stuff and the bad stuff is on this specific model.
also any advice on where to get replacement alloy wheel covers for this model would be appreciated - actually any advice on replacements incase they are needed would also be much appreciated.
I'm itching to get my hands on it.....
Thanks in advance.......
Alloy wheel centre caps. Thanks for the advice
