    Apologies upfront if this is the wrong area to put this thread.


    The worst has now happened to my beloved Disco series 1.

    It was involved in an accident last thursday, and the damage is not worth repairing.
    The hit is on the passenger side front corner, still drivable but needs a fair bit to fix to get back on the road.

    I've decided to wreck it, or get it picked up by salvage.

    Any recommedations for wreckers/salvages in the Gladesville, Sydney area?
    Possibly where I can recover the towing costs.

    Vehicle details:
    200,000 klms
    V8i

    To say I am dissapointed is understating it.

    Why don't you stick an ad in the Markets section on here?

    I'm sure it woul be better going to someone who can use it for bits themselves rather than a wrecking yard.

    Scouse, I would but I have it in a towing hold yard which costs money every day it is there.
    Its more about minimising my costs at the moment.

    I was hoping to get it sorted and down by the middle of this week. :-(

    If it's still driveable (and I assume still registered), can you not take it somewhere yourself?

    Is it far from your home?

    If still registered, it could even just be parked on the street for a week or so.
