Thread: Potential D1 Purchase

Good call to check under the carpets for rust.I bought a 94 Disco very cheap a few months ago and was aware of some rust in the front floor pan and am presently fixing it.It seems to be a very common place for rust due to leaks not being noticed or fixed.Also I would be a bit weary about the bellhousing leak as this will be a road worthy issue if it gets too bad.I have put a new engine in mine and did the rear main and auto front seal and gasket and fully serviced the whole car and I now have a leak free Disco.Good luck.

Thanks all for the replies. I've purchased an auto D1 from Victoria. It's just had a 3500k run back to Darwin which went very well. Good service history, very clean with no obvious rust or leaks.

The other one I assume has been sold as the ad has been removed from carpoint.
