Where would one buy a CAT battery from in Melbourne?

Okay so I'm kind of sold on the idea of getting a CAT battery to go in my Tdi since it sounds like they're well priced and built tough seeing as they are made for agricultural equipment etc. etc. but I'm just having a look on the net and was wondering who sells them here in Melbourne? I'm sure someone knows so instead of trawling around too much myself I thought I'd just ask the question

At a guess, William Adams. There's one in Laverton.
    Or try a forlift place.

William adams in laverton if your on that side of town, or theres one in Clayton. Otherwise most truck repair joints should be able to get one in for you.

I was keen to get a Cat battery too.
Did all the searchs on here and armed with a list of three I sent the better half to buy one in Laverton.
Very limited stock, not much help from behind the counter to help her out so we walked away.

Some of the posts gave the Clayton branch a good wrap

Ended up buying a AC Delco N70RH battery in Melton at a 4wd repair shop for $185.00.
    Cheers, Kyle

I'm on the eastern side of Melbourne myself but I frequently travel out west for work. What actual model of CAT battery is best for the disco (300 Tdi) because I'm not meant to tell them it's for a 4wd am I? Can't very well go in and say "give me a battery that fits a disco"

    Go to cat site...

    Download catalogue.

Find the one you want and phone a Cat dealer....

They don't want to look it up, so find the one you want and ring them with the part you want
