Are you planning to leave the back seats in? if so not a lot of room to play with.
I've taken the back seats out and moved the cargo barrier forward. Then made a storage system with draws and fridge slide etc. We only use the car for camping normally (2 people) and if necessary we can unbolt the storage system and slide it out in one piece and throw the seats back in.
I can take some photo's if your interested.
    Cheers

here a few pics of the home made storage system. You can buy the alumininum box sections in 6 metre lengths and it knocks together with nylon corners, very strong and lightweight and mine has been in place since 2005 without any issues.
The company is Capral Aluminium and the product is called Qubelok.
I see that Bunnings is selling it in short lengths as well but much more expensive as I only paid about $20 for a 6 metre lengh. You need a mix of lipped and non lipped if you are putting shelves in. The main benefit of such a system is you get to use all of the upper storage space which is often not used, you would be amazed what my Missus can pack into the Disco and the house looks empty when she's done : )
    Cheers

This is my set up, I'm a sign installer so often need extra space for longer stuff. This set up also worked really well for the 12k km trip I just did - the bigger seat in the back is retained for the dog. The small left seat is removed and replaced with a long fitted plywood floor covered with rubber flooring, behind the right seat I made a steel frame which attaches to existing points and is good for tying things to. My car tools are all in the drawers under the right platform. The shelf on the left is an after addition as it was needed to fit the 45l fridge and the wheel arch was in the way - just meant more could be stored underneath. Not a highly polished job but it all fits well and functional.
