is that the new turbo 4 i saw at the Brisbane truck show in May?
if so i have the brochure for it

Is it similar to a Cummins 4BT?

If so, there's a website www.4btswaps.com with a couple stuck in Defenders. With the 4BT the exhaust is on (our) driver side, which makes it tight around the steering coupling.

I'm doing a Isuzu 4BD1-T which although has been a long term pain in the bum, is getting near the end....

If I was going to go to all the effort of an engine swap I would go the whole hog and fit a Duramax.

yes i4 is 4bt, not sure if it would be too heavy for the disco, do the duramaxs come in a 4? Cummins has the reliability behind it which is where I am interested! I will check out the izuzu posts... cheers!

I have a 300 tdi 130, have been wondering the same thing also.

I have been tempted to install an intercooler but still weighing up the extra performance over the cost.

Does anyone elso know how much more power you would actually get?

Have you already turned the fuel up ?

Probably not worth it if you haven't.
