Diff locks front and rear Ashcroft's or kam’s which ones are best

Hi,which are the best diff locks front and rear Ashcroft's or kam’s ?
I haven't decided as yet so what are your preferences and why, I will also be getting all the axles cv’s etc, what do you use some from each or stick with one brand.
    Thanks Peter

for Lockers - Ashcroft vs KAM - Ashcroft would be my choice. have a read of this re KAM:

Are Kam Diff's Still Trading ? - LR4x4 - The Land Rover Forum

Also Ashcrofts are easier to fit, simpler, cheaper I believe etc etc

CV's / front axles - if for a non ABS car I would say either Rovertracks or Ashcroft.

ABS car if you want to keep it - Ashcroft only really

Rear axles - Ashcroft / hitough / rovertracks

I have parts from each of the above apart from KAM.

I am not super happy with my rear hitough axles, but they havent broken yet. Front CV's / axles from Rovertracks I love, and ashcroft bits I have I also love.

Also everyone at Ashcrofts is great to deal with, as is Keith at Rovertracks... (longtracks now)

Shipping from Ashcrofts is also verrrrry quick... order monday night our time... delivered Thursday or Friday!!

Not too long ago I ordered front and rear half shafts, drive flanges and CV's (ABS) for my PUMA from Ashcroft. Customer service was tops, delivery less that a week to the door.

Fitted all the bit in the garage, everything went together perfectly. Since then done few thousand k's and couldn't be happier.

My opinion - get the Ashcroft parts.

PS : deal direct with Ashcroft in the UK. You will save $$$$, just keep your order under the thousand AUD's or have Ashcroft break your order into several smaller groups to avoid import duty.

    Cheers
