Is the barrier mounted to the storage unit or did you cut the mesh out on the lower section to allow the fridge to slide in further ?
Well, the "temporary" fridge slide/box/barrier set up has finally been replaced (maybe the water crossing a few months back was the final straw for the MDF)
There was some marine ply in the shed..... (another project..... 25ft Catamaran) and some resin just waiting to be used lol. So some resin, varnish (for UV protection), a chopped and rewelded barrier along with some marine carpet.......
For those who are interested it is an ARB 35lt fridge on slide (just fits.....)
Pics to follow... On the IPAD at the moment and can't work out how to find them to upload lol

I have a similar setup, but on the passenger side to even out balance. mine is a 38lt. Engel eclipse (plastic body), it will not fit with the handles on and I had to trim some marine carpet off the sidewalls to clear the latches. my cargo barrier is only half height so lid of fridge touches back of seat, Regards Frank.
I have to make a custom set up too so i can fit my ???? brand 80lt fridge and drawer system to my disco. Its nice to see a neat set up like yours, looks very practical
Yes the barrier uses a rear anchor point, normal side top anchor point and is bolted to the top of the unit aswell.
I went drivers side as we have four kids and use the rear seat all the time. Easy to get out of the drivers side when someone pulls up close behind you at the shops (another good reason to avoid the burbs lol)
Thanks... fitting an 80lt if you want to use the back seat could be fun! lol
