Blitz, have you checked behind the kickpanel on the right of the footwell?

Ditto blitz, passenger side still wet. Think it must be getting in at e bottom of the windscreen. Oh well, back to the sealant

hmm not sure I understand what you mean?

I have had the carpet out completely as I had to cut out the rusted floor panels and weld in new ones on both sides.

the water appears to be coming in from under the dash on the far right hand side, right up beside the - ahhhhhhh the penny just dropped, beside the kick panel.

so what am I looking for behind there??

its def water isn't it? have you witnessed it dripping? or is it just soaking the carpet and pooliing up?

because water in the footwells can be a blocked aircon pipe and if its not water it will be coolant and that will be a hold in your heatercore

ar, how many k's has this jigger got on it?

is it used off road a bit?

i'd look closely at the top of the front door pillars, they can crack, and the water from the gutters trickles around and dribbles down the inside of the pillar, hard to find, but if you jerk the front pillar plastics you can see the welds to the roof, look for cracks, very fine and hard to see, and the leak.

water was dripping onto the brade pedal but all of the sealing around the air vents seems to have fixed that one.

the it only happens when it rains so I can rule out the ac or cracked heater ( I hope)

the water (soak) is right where the front of the door frame joins the floor or at the rear of the kick panel, I will try to get time today and pull the kick panel out and see what I find if nothing then will see if I can find what Harry mentioned

Hi ron - I did look but didnt see anything like it, although there is a hole in the side of the frame and a couple of threaded holes so I am going to fill them up and see what a difference it makes.

AND joy of joy vacuumed out dirt that always collects under the floor by the right foot only to find more bloody rust holes :(:(

So now that I no longer have access to the necessary equipment to fix it properly I have done the cardinal sin of siliconing up the holes because I am bloody well over the damned thing.

Look at the door seal, mine leaks mad in a squall, at the bottom, Where the door seal in.

I found a leAk. Low where you would least expect it.

if you have siliconed everything up and you happen to still get it...I would lastly suggest you need to check your alpine windows...

I know your thinking well there at the back of the car, BUT if they have rust in them then water could be getting in and traveling on the inside of the roof
