Just to update, have followed the instructions to online to rule out each part of system step by step. It's looking like its the ECU.
Have posted a wanted thread in Markets but if anyone here can help me out I'm after a working ECU to suit a 1997 Disco.

Just another follow up. I purchased a second hand ECU that I've been told is in working condition.
Plugged it in and still nothing.
I have completed all tests on this website Land Rover Cruise Control Problems - Land Rover and Range Rover Forums
All ok except the speedo sensor test gives a reading of around 8.0volts rather than between 0-5 volts. My problem with this is my speedo transducer is brand new.

System works fine if I hotwire it like in step 8.

Is it possible I have two dud ECUs?

    Cheers,
    Rez
