    liquid gold

    Well I've taken the advice from this site and brought Castrol syntrans 75w85
    for my R380, will drop the atf this weekend ..but boy what a price $125.00 for
    4 ltrs, wouldn't want to do this too often ...hope its for the better ..Gary

    Check out Repco or Super cheap,. I paid no where what you are paying.
    Repco might even give you 10% off if you are an auto club member

    If you can sign up as a business with Supercheap, you can get a trade card for a further 10% off anything. Adds up with regular oil changes and expensive stuff like trans oil.

    I tried all over the "city" of Albany on thurs, but know one had any, my only option was the bp/castrol depot. I think they'd be the cheapest any way... drained and re filled it today doesn't seem any different. only needed 2 and a bit litres so could have saved to cost of one.. had a few stalagmites on the drain plug magnet but after 120,000 ks had to expect some ...all good , Gary

    Dont forget you have only changed half of the "oil"

    I dont think he read the " R380 " part meaning if it was an auto you'd still have 3ltrs or so in the converter but being a manual you drain all of it bar a few drips.
