    Hi Ade,
Didn't really write the comment very well, affinity was possibly the wrong word, and when I wrote the comment I didn't know it was the first or second time you had used the Fuchs oil, I wrongly assumed it was you oil of choice, all I was trying to say was I didn't know the reason why you chose the Fuchs oil, you explained in your next post. No biggie, usually people choose oil either because they have a good history and high reliability or they make the choice on the price, best deal at the time or as in your case what was and is available in your location.
I work for an oil major so I tend to be a bit biased thats all, nothing more. I was only offering an opinion which I was hoping might help. Hope you find out what the issue is or it doesn't happen again what ever oil you use.

no worries nomad, what oil company do you work for? I work as a lube technician on a mine and recently did the NORIA course on grease and oil lubrication. Do you know of this course?

    Hi ade,
A colleage of mine recently did the Noria course, might of been the same course, his name was Glynn, you would remember him. Noria is a good course to do, any course to do with anything that gives you knowledge is good, The Noria Corporation is a great source of information regarding lubrication. In regard to the company I work for Green and Gold my man
I use the Royal Purple 10W-40 in my D1 and the RP 5W-30 in my D3.
