Dual Zone AirCon/Heater on D1 (update) Not cold

    Morning ladies/gents

I have a 96/97 Disco 1 TDi300 that we've owned for a scratch over 12 months now. SO far its been trouble free and fun to drive, touch wood.

As its creeping into the hotter months I have been running the aircon and have noticed that Her side (LHS) is Noticably COOLER than My Side (RHS) :-(
I have had a search on here but found nothing.

How does the system function? is there only 1 evaporator and 2 seperate heater cores or just one of each???
I have checked the heater "door" on the drivers side and it seems to be seating and closing correctly, what else should I check?
Where can I go to get some more info or a schematic on the aircon?
    Is this a common problem?

    thanks.

most common problem is low a/c gas or faulty tx valve from memory

also check that your fans at the front of the vehicle behind your grill are working when a/c is on.
Pritty sure that if they are not working the a/c will not work at all as the pressure is to high and cuts the a/c off.
