Anyone?
Hi, been surfing this site for a while as the family have Landies, but i just bought my first car, its an Epsom Green 300TDI Auto Discovery, with 320ks on it, i have done a fair bit of 4wding on the farm and in mum and dad's cars, but i went a bit wild with my car and went up a knarley track (stock car), anyway ended up sliding into a rut and sitting on the diffs but with my experience i managed to get it out (read pumping brakes and turning wheels to dig at side), however i had no recovery gear (this is going on asap), in the process i ripped off the front valance and the rear quarter bumperette, these have been put back on and the front bumperettes trimmed up to match the missing valance, however i am still looking for that little bit of more clearance and to put on some bigger tyres (245/75-16), there is a mob who advertise on ebay and have 30mm coil spacers they say these will fit deefers, rangies and discos, they apparently have a 120mm I.D. and a 155mm O.D., will these be compatible with the car and standard shocks????, I already have a factory nudge bar and a winch to go on, but i dont want to spend big dollars on this car as i plan to get a td5 in a year or so (or hopefully a nice defender), but i am loving the discovery (even though i would prefer a manual)

Anyone?
I have been told spring spacers are illegal, check with your local rego/roadworthy inspector. I would always suggest uprated springs to carry extra weight, otherwise it could be a bit wallowy.
For budget suspension work I Strongly recommend suspension stuff..
