    Disco1 Digital Clock

Hi Guy's, My clock does not work in the Dash of my car. Is this a common fault with age, or is there some simple little trick to get it to work that one of you lovely Disco owners might be able to pass onto me Please?Thank,s

Is it completely off or is it just the illumination that has failed? The light bulb can be replaced quite easily.
    Cheers

There are people who spend all weekend cleaning the car.
And there are people who drive Discovery.

I swapped in an early Commodore c1978 analogue clock, drops straight in and never misses a beat. You can also use the early '90s Range Rover soft dash analogue clock which arguably looks better than the digital.

I went to Jaycar and purchased 2 X 12V LED and drilled two holes in the back (each side of the bulb hole) and it glows fine. Been like for about 5 years now.

If its just the light i.e. very dull it is a very easy 2 minute fix, I did mine tonight. The bulb and holder can be brought from eBay (link below, I have no affiliation with them, but I do buy from them as they are fast and very helpful) then just use 2 credit cards or similar, one for the top and one for the bottom, just slide them in on the top and bottom of the clock and all the clock and hazard switch comes out then just replace the globe and push back in its that easy.
    Hope this helps.
    Regards Peter
