    Bonnet catch adjustment

Ok here's my dilemma, I'm trying my ass off to get my bonnet to pop by do the usual, pulling the bonnet cable.
But no matter what I do it won't happen unless I have someone else do it while I lift the bonnet at the front.
    I have done the following.
    1. Lubricated everything
    2. Tried every adjustment there is
    3. Taken the whole mechanism off the dozer and put it on the yeti
    4. adjusted everything again
    5. Tried adjusting the bonnet.
But still no good, this is a rwc requirement and I have to make it work so please please please someone who knows give me any trade secrets so I can get this pain in the butt to work before I do a bum drop out of pure frustration and destroy it all

    just a adjustment moment

When you say that you have reassembled the mechanism, did you have a go at the post on the bonnet, there are two adjustments there, the length and some sideways movement.
The bonnet against the hinges is able to be moved around as well.

There are (at least there is on mine) 2 rubber bump stops, one each side near the front of the bonnet, these are adjustable. Your's (if you have them) may be too long and putting too much upward pressure on the locking mechanism, making it hard or impossible to unlock. Try adjusting them down a bit at a time till you can get the bonnet open without the bonnet being too loose and flapping about, Regards Frank.
