    Electric Windows

    Hi all,

I have been having issues closing 3 of my electric windows. Having removed the door cards and investigated, I believe that the the broken nylon/washers are causing the issue. Have any of you replaced these or do I need to find new regulators? If so where is the best place to get them from in the Sydney area?

    Thank you.

Apparently there are generic parts available at your local hardware store, there have been threads on this previously. I used some assorted washers and a trimmed bolt when I did mine due to unavailability of said replacements.

    Hi Mate
You can buy replacement rollers made of brass. You grind the old weld of the fitted shaft on the unit , then fit the washer, then reweld the shaft.
its roughly $30 ish to do each one.
    Cheers Pete
