Thread: MR Automotive needs 10 orders for front Maxi Drive diff lockers for a production run.

G'day Folks,

I am busting for a set of lockers for my Disco project. I had a chat with Brad Pollard at KLR Automotive today about my options. I know that rear Maxi Drive lockers are easy enough to come by, but the front set requires 10 orders before it is viable for a production run. I still have my original Maxi Drive catalogue from 2005 when Mal Storey owned it. That catalogue is one of my treasured possessions, & it has kept me company through some very dark and lonely times on some cold nights up in the Pilbara.

I love Ashcroft Transmission products too, & they are making lockers now. I could get a rear Maxi Drive set, & an Ashcroft set for the front, but I would ideally like a matching pair from the same manufacturer. However, Maxi Drive are the ducks guts, & I do have my heart set on them.

Brad said to me that he has 2 customers already who would like a front set, & mine would make 3. That means I need 7 more folks to place orders through MR Automotive for a production run. I am patient to a certain degree, & I a prepared to wait a little bit.

Is anybody out there prepared to place orders for quality Australian engineering? Help a bloke out?
