    Alarm + Key

Ok so I got my disco a fortnight ago

I originally used the remote handset to unlock and lock that car. It seemed the handset must of been low on battery because i had to press the button a few times for it to un/lock.

Now the handset doesnt work at all so I have to use to key to un/lock. The alarm has been going crazy, nearly everytime I open or lock the car. I read in the manual that you should use the handset to un/lock the vehicle to avoid setting off the alarm. Does this mean if I put a fresh battery into the handset then I will no longer have the unexpected alarm going off?

    Thanks guys

It sucks I'm too scared to drive it because the alarm will go off when I get out. Do you use the key or handset to unlock the car?

it sounds like you need the remotes checked/repaired or some alarms can be reprogramed to deactivate in different ways or failing that just bypass them and use a different system.

Put a new battery in the handset and it seems to be working, but I will let you know after a few drives
