    Daytime running lights intermittent

The headlamps that come on when you turn the car on (I believe they are the high-beam filiments on the headlamps, but at 1/2 voltage) flicker. Sometimes they come on in a delayed way .... 10 seconds after the engine starts. Sometimes they go off and come on later when it suits them.

Anybody know which relay controls this function or if there might be a different problem?

    Thanks.

AFAIK we do not have daytime running lights on D1s in Australia so we would be guessing.
Logic would suggest that if it is earth, you would have the same problem with headlights, and probably not the switch/dipper either.

A wiring diagram will be your best bet to find the colours involved and trace back.

If they are the same lights as out 'parking lights' then they are a seperate bulb.
