being able to drag off at the lights is irrelevant, buy a sports car if you wanna do that, its no wonder people have head gasket problems at 200 thou or less if they treat a 300tdi like a race car

Only if its a auto and your drag racing a P plate commordore off at the lights:wasntme:

I can see the advantage of an auto commordore - makes it a lot easier to hold the brakes and accelerator on together. :twisted:

I dread to think what might happen if you tried that in a Disco! :eek:

Therefore, might as well get a manual, right? :angel:

looks like the manual is the go, sounds like the auto box pushes the engine a bit hard for my taste!;)
