    installing injectors

    Interested to know the amount of hours to install 4 second hand injectors in a 300tdi, includes removing and whatever else they do.

    10 minutes to r/r.

    It is only 12 bolts (including injector lines).

    Depends on if any get stuck in the head... then it can take 4 days and a full machine shop...

    If non get stuck in the head, whoa to go is about an hour.

    if you are replacing the units.
    Remove fuel lines, remove clamps, remove bonnet, hit the key.
    All four will be ejected in seconds.

    Remove fragile items and small children from the immediate area (976m from ds of vehicle)

    Make sure you remove the old injector sealing washers and install the new washers the correct way up. I usually stick the new washers to the injector with a little grease to hold them on while fitting, Regards Frank.
