Fitting boost alloys, need nuts / info...

I've got hold of some Boost alloys for my D1, but no nuts.

I've got steels on atm and I know I can't use those nuts.

Are all alloy wheel nuts for D1's the same?

Any place I can source a set?

Anything I need to know about fitting etc..?

    Cheers

There are two types of alloy nuts for D1 and RRC. I prefer the RRC ones which do not have chrome covers but are solid. AFAIK all the earlier 5 stud 6.5 PCD alloys take the same nuts.
You can get Chinese solid type nuts from Gary at CLR or other specialists which are OK and I have bought these. They are reasonable , but of course 20 adds up.
I have a set of earlier type locking nuts in markets , which are on ebay, if you want locking nuts.
AFAIK they are NOT the type of locking nuts that cause so much grief to D1 owners, but nobody in D1 has so far confirmed this.

I take it these are the splined nuts. If so, the removal key is very strong. I've had mine for around 10 years now & had them off & on countless times.

    Scouse,
There is a photo on a post I put on D1 a couple of days ago.
The keys have 4 large round pins that engage in 4 holes in the nut.
They have been fine for me.
