Thread: injectors/cylinder head/intake manifold

so started to change the injectors on me 300tdi last friday, spent two days getting three of them out, last one wouldn't budge no matter what I tried, ended up taking rocker cover off along with rocker assembly to be able to get stilsons onto last injector, wasnt worried about injector as I have four new ones to put in, ended up undoing the injector halfway down and leaving the bottom part still jammed in the head. to hell with this i thinks to myself, so I ordered a new performance head from turners sat arvo.should arrive wed or thurs, might seem abit extreme to some but i live remote and this is quicker and cheaper than taking the head off, getting it sent to perth and sorted then getting it sent back and putting it all together again, plus fortunately, I work on the mines so the cost doesnt matter. got the head ready to come off but just wondering about the intake manifold, took the two bolts out but it wont move, is it clamped on with the exhaust manifold or something else i cant see?

I think from memory, there are two bolts up the top and two nuts on studs underneath.
