Thread: Gearbox just went BANG!

ok all,
my gearbox just went bang, now the question is is there a stronger box than a R380? its running behind a 4.6.

if not has anyone got one OR where the best place to get one from?

I reckon the input shaft beearing went bang, I thought it was the thrust bearing but changed it ( was bored one day), its been noisey for a while, and now its getting really really really loud one 1,2,3 gears and first gear is missing a couple of teeth cos it jerks in that gear, its actually a lt77 but I want to put a r380 in it cos it will put up with the power better.

BUT since its out I thought if there was some simplish things before I put it in.
