Has the buzzer for keys left in the ignition switched off as well?

    Cheers

I'm pretty sure the drivers side door switch for the interior light triggers the warning, I don't remember hearing mine until I fixed that switch.

It seems common for the spade connector to fracture inside the pillar.

If you can't get the cable from the pillar then you will have to bring it out to the fuze box area and then you can use a larger entry lower down for the door wiring to lead it in. Probably need to extend the wire a bit to do it as well.
For information, the wire goes through a grommetted hole that is quite far forward levelish with the switch but I reckon can't be reached without removing the dash !

There's a wire you cut for that, at the back of the ignition switch. Search the site for that, I can't remember the colour.

Not directly, the switch is wired so to provide a path for the key beeper too, there's probably an electronic delay box for the interior lights it's wired through, or a bunch of diodes.

D1 has a headlight and ignition buzzer? Mine hasnt got a light switch on the drivers door, that might be why my buzzers dont work. Ill have too look into this I think.

Check the fuse for the instrument lights. When they're out the buzzer won't buzz.
