Hooked my old bosch coil up and compared sparkes, the new bosch coil was about 5mm jump, the old one jumped about 15 mm and cracked when it hit!(HT lead to earth) Hooked the old one up fired up straight away:twisted:Chased my tail for weeks! I bought the coil from my local auto pro store on the 6/7/12, It has done about 2 hrs at the max! Still have receipt, I"m there tomorow

Hi All , I'm new to these forums , so this is a first post.Reading this one bought back all my woes.I spat the dummy at the amp, and decided it was getting to hot being mounted near the radiator.It seemed to me that because its got a heatsink on it , the best place to mount it is where it gets some additional cooling.So you guessed it : it ended up mounted right in front of the airbox intake.Great cooling , and hasnt given a bit of trouble since.
