NO SPARK
hi all went for a drive in the D1 the other day and the motor just stopped, pulled the lead from the coil to the dizzy off and turned it over NO SPARK towed it home and went to the rave disc and done some trouble shooting the only test it failed was test 3 using a volt meter connect +on meter to positive battery terminal and -on meter to negative on coil meter should read 0 mine reads 12 v so I assume from that the coil is being earthed (kill switch) I then started to pull each wire off found the WB wire that goes to the ECM was the wire going to earth . that wire has a resistor in it could that be faulty? or is the ECM has had it has anyone had this trouble before or could help me ? or is it something else any advise would be greatful thanks mark

WB wire takes signal from the coil to the ECU, it doesn't affect the spark. More likely your ignition amp has failed, once you are sure there is 12V at the coil +ve with the ignition on, most likely is the amp. Thread here on converting the Lucas amp to Bosch module:
