    Fit diesel gas, they run at same temps if not a tad lower but you get way more power/ torque and hence run at lower temps cause u dont need to bury the pedal in the carpet or vinyl!

    What he said. D-gas makes a massive difference, especially when towing.

    I bought a 94 tdi I think it has spun from poor maintenance. I have thought about gas but I'll be just glad to see the thing finished and running first

    Shutdown at around 220C after a run.

    general town driving: 250 to 350
    flat country highway cruising at 100: around 380-400 ( ambient temp and load size effects this)
    flat country cruising at 110: around 400-420
    up long hills at 100: will go to 700 pushed hard

    Have a d1 300tdi with allisport uprated intercooler, fuel pump tweeked (spindle turned full 180deg) climbs above 720deg on hills foot not flat to the floor may have to turn the fuel down a bit. It does go well
