New Disco Owner & Oil Leaks

    Hey everyone,
I bought a 96 Manual V8 Disco back in November of 2011 but haven't had the time until recently to give it a good looking over and prepare it for a rwc. The first task i've set for myself is stopping this ridiculous oil leak that has developed. Only leaks when engine is on and seems to be coming out of one of the pipes that runs behind the filter (see pics). I like to try to attempt to fix everything myself so would be really grateful if someone could advise me as to how to fix it.

    Other issues i've found:
    - Water in both foot wells in the rain (have found the problem on the passenger side but from reading through the forums it seems drivers side is going to be more difficult)
    - Rear passenger window and central locking not working
    - Gear stick sits between 1st and 2nd in neutral instead of 3rd and 4th (was told this is a simple fix too, just need to replace a bracket?)
    - Possible ABS issue which i will need to look into a bit more
    - Wont run on fuel but LPG is running perfect (assuming it's the pump as the fuse blows when it's replaced. assuming i'll also need to replace the injectors too as it has been almost 9 months since fuel has been flowing)
    - Other very minor leaks that don't bother me at this point

ANYWAY first things first, how do i fix up this nasty leak??

    Thanks!

The leak can either be the common engine oil cooler hoses, we sell a lot of them, the rubber perishes from the engine heat.
or if not it could be the seal on the welch plug on the oil pressure regulator. This is a remove circlip job ( Fiddly) and replace the 20cent O Ring, trouble is getting the spring and plug back in, as it's hard doing from under the car. It is above the oil filter on the drivers side above the oil cooler hose connection.

rear window common - dry solder do a search ,easy fix
    cheers, Mario

Thanks for that Mario, i'll have a better look at is this weekend and suss out which of the two it is. I'm pretty sure it's the cooler hose so i'll most likely be ordering replacements from you very soon. Then again, knowing my luck it will most likely be both haha.

Had a read about the rear window solder job, think i'll need to borrow the soldering iron from work and have a crack at it.

Will be good to finally get this bad boy on the road and get to some decent camping spots for a change.

    Thanks mate
