I have searched however my request is more specific!
My 1997 D1 has HD king coil progressive 2 inch coils as I always have a minimum of 200 kg in the back and often a roof top tent up above. The sway bar has been removed as I do not require with this set up. I currently run Cooper ST 31x10.5R15 with a -25 offset. It has a small camel cut at the rear
With this set up it has good initial flex and the tyres go up inside the guards without rubbing but not as far as my bump stops. I have a bulbar on the front which sits nicely clear
I am looking at purchasing a set of 15x8 wheels with zero offset and mounting
33X12.50R15LT **Section width 12.1 tread width 9.7 O/All diameter 32.7
I am looking for advice as to whether they will indeed fit and what else needs to be done, I am not considering doing a body lift.

I ran 33x10.5 on my D1 on standard off set rims. They tucked up nicely but had to remove the rear mud flaps and steel plate as the tyres would hit the corner on full compresion. You can bash it flat and re install. The turning circle was rubbish but you got use to it.

D2 TD5 Manual, CDL, Detroit Rear, Truetac Front, 2" OME lift, 32" MT Tyres, ARB Bull Bar, Winch, TJM Roof Rack, Driving Lights, Dual Batteries, ARB Side Steps, Rear Draws, Uhf.
No they won't fit inside a standard guard, the wheel arch is too small on a D1 with a zero offset rim
Those alloy rims above are a +30 offset so sit way inside the guards compared o a zero offset rim.
I have 33x 12.5 x 15's on my 94 disco with a 2" lift and you will definitely need to cut the guards to enlarge the wheel wells and fit flares, I also have lower gearing to compensate (4.11), I will post some pics, regards Frank.

Thought that might be the case, just that I had access to some 33 inch tyres at a good price, I was hopeful that by going back to a zero offset rim the extra inch from the -25 would have allowed the wheel to still fit up inside the wheel well.

Unless your going to fit lockers and different gearing to get Tito drive right I wouldn't fit 33's it's not with the extra hassle just get yourself another set of wheels and some 265/75/16 you'll go just at far and won't have to spend to much $$$$
15" dia. tyres are much cheaper than 16's, the one's on my disco in the Pics cost $175 each f&b equivalent in 16's at the time of purchase cost $300+, something else to consider, Regards Frank.
Hi all, thought id jump in here.
ive got a 94 D1 300tdi, at the moment running 31x10.5" tyres on 15x7" rims with +10 offset,
ive been looking high and low on whats involved in fitting 33x12.5" tyres on 15x8, -25 offset rims but cant find a definate answer on wether or not i will need heavy duty axles???
i do a fair amount of off roading and the car is also my daily driver,
im planning on fitting a defender transfer box to cope on the tarmack, (i dont think low range will be an issue as most of the time with the 31's offroad im in 2nd or 3rd low. so with 33's will get more use out of 1st).
will the rest of the driveline be okay with the defender TC with 33x12.5" tyres or is there more to be done. (i am aware of the body work/suspension requirements but am unsure of the disco's driveline)

It's not the axels that are the problem it's the diff gearing you'll have no legs for going up hills and it will be too fast going down them
