    3.9v8 centre muffler options

    The original centre muffler is going to God, whats are the options, i wouldnt mind a little bit more V8 burble but dont want to spend a fortune.
    Are there any off the shelf bolt on yourself options available or do i just replace the original. If i go original what are the best after market options. Vechile is housed in Sydney or Newcasltle.

    just go aftermarket straight thru muffler for a bit more noise, should be around the $100-150 mark supplied and fitted by and exhaust shop.

    I have a Lukey turbo muffler in the middle of my D1 and it sounds awesome, my last one had one as well. Can't go wrong with Lukey mate

    For what it's worth; I just sold a complete d1 2.5" exhaust with an aftermarket center muffler and no rear muffler for $50. No use to you as I'm in Melb, but still worthwhile checking eBay and the like.

    just get it cut out and replaced by straight pipe,,
    I ran my Rossi for ten years with no centre muffler,,,

    Pedro 2 questions, how much louder was it especially on the highway and what effect did it have on feul consumtion.

    They do drone a bit without any centre muffler,
    though my silver one sounds the same with just the rear one still there,,

    fuel consumption?
    you bought a two ton brick and your worried about fuel?
