I'm looking for ideas/proven solutions to fix the well known crack under the radio position problem. After repairing/glueing mine a number of times I have looked for 2nd hand replacements but all i have seen suffer the same problem or are broken in a different spot. Options appear to be: a)buy a new panel that has been sitting in the back corner of a forgotten storage room somewhere(buggered if i can the part# though) or b) fit a panel from series2 disco as pictures of these show what looks like more support for the radio which may hopefully reduce the risk of cracking.
I like option b so far but does anyone know if the panel will fit?
