Thread: 16x8 rims on stock guards

Hey guys !

In urgent need of some info .

I'm ordering some steel rims for my disco 1 this week and need to know what size and offset will fit with stock guards .

I have a 2" lift , 265/70-16 tyres , a slight camel cut to clear tyres .

Can I run a 16x8 0 offset without cutting the upper guards ? I don't care of the stick out the guards but I'm just worried about them fowling the top lips of the guards ?

Any info would be great

If they stick out of the guards they will catch on articluation, even if the offset puts them inside the guards they will scrub .
265/70's are fine on 7" rims so unless you are planning on 285 or wider i'd stick with 7" rims.
