Just accidentally bought a D1

"Do whatever thw **** you want " doesn' t really mean "do what.... etc":D

What sort of vehicle do you drive? And what sort of trailer do you have access to? You will not be able to tow a Disco legally on a hire car carrier tandem trailer, they are only good for 2000kg GTM. I know most don't worry and will tow a three tone cruiser on one of those trailers, you'd want to be careful.

i would probably trailer it at least that way you know you will get it home, i too have been looking at disco v8s i probably saw this one, was it maroon coloured?

This sound like how I got my D2. I put in a last minute impulse bid and won. I then made my way sheepishly out to the family room and told the wife I just brought a car. She was surprisingly ok with it.

I had a sleepless night wondering what I had done until I saw it the next day. It has proved a good buy date, fingers crossed.

I guess I'm just lucky that my Girlfriend likes my landy as much as I do :twisted:
Now I just need her to tell convince my mother :angel:

Geeze I wasn`t even under the influence when I brought mine sight unseen. So I had absolutely no excuse. Suppose I could claim a moment of madness as I brought a Landy. Has been both a lot of fun and to a certain degree a money pit. But the landy bug has bitten, so will be some time before it`s sold.
Missus was not to surprised as I was hinting at getting another toy.
