Reply With Quotego to turner engineering and get a mwm rear main for the 2.8 tdi, dont use a gasket behind it-just ultrablue or similar. this seal replaced the dowty which was the best and original but no longer available

Hi all
Anybody know of up grades/ modifications on rear crank seals to stop them from leaking, & yes the T gaskets have been changed.

Yes and consider doing the TGV mod for the seal cover, it is just two threaded holes in the block and two extra holes in the cover?Originally Posted by redrovertdi

In fact you can buy the HS cover and just get the holes drilled and threaded.
