Thread: Flat battery - no ignition lights or accessories

Hello members, need some guidance. have been looking through the forum but cant see anything to answer my problem.

Went to move the disco 96 v8 manual petrol. But battery was flat from sitting. So charged the battery up, central locking kicked in unlocked all the doors and the indicators started flashing (positive sign).

Hazards stop flashing...

Left the battery to charge bonnet open came back a few hours later and no ignition, accessories anything. turn key on and nothing.

What has crapped itself... checked the inertia switch under bonnet near washer water bottle seems ok.

Checked battery seems fine but no power anywhere in the vehicle.

Thoughts and checks to get her working again please?

Clean and tighten the battery terminals! Then test the battery voltage with the headlight switch on. If it shows no voltage worth mentioning your battery is stuffed.
