Thread: snorkel

hello

i had tdi300 and now V8.
i have moved the tdi snorkel to the V8.
i think the root of the tdi and V8 snorkel around the air box is not the same.
to place it correct i have cut the AFM pipe("L" shape pipe).
does this action can effect the engine work?

It depends whether your V8 has the square airbox or not (the post '95 model?), but the route for the snorkel is the same for a V8 or TDi, with some snorkel brands it just depends if you have ABS or not.

Post up some pictures of what you've done to make it easier to get a proper answer.
