    Chips for a 3.9l V8

    G'day guys,

    Ive got a 96 disco with a petrol/gas v8 and was thinking about putting a chip in it after reading some other posts. Can anyone recommend one and where I could get it (in Newcastle or the internet), have seen a few on ebay from the states but would like to hear from someone who has one before I commit.

    Don't buy a chip off eBay u will be sorely disappointed, call Davis Landrover at annongrove, they do a chip for $600 it's the bees knees, I'm getting one for my car after going for a drive in a chipped up d2 v8 the same as my one and it transformed the motor and was 1L-1.5/100km better on fuel

    Thanks mate looks interesting apparently 12kw improvement. Am also looking at putting a set of headers on the old girl as well so once I find a set of them and chip it she should run sweet!.

    Yeah I talked to an old cocky who had it done to his 3.9 RR And got 27hp gain, also the chip will help get the most out of headers/extractors
