Just when you thought you were up to date with repairs and maintenance...

    The clutch starts slipping...

Pedal pressure seems less, so I suspect the springs have broken...

It is a '97 Tdi. Any recommendations on which clutch and pressure plate to use?

I've just order standard HD clutch through paddocks, added to an existing order, freight went up by £50, so not bad value.
Was waiting for a price from Autobarn on the Extreme Clutch range but they never got back to me. Ball park figure if $650-$700

I went the eXedy sports tuff heavy duty jobbie in my Tdi D1 . Only because a mate is in the game.

I did reinforce the clutch fork as a precaution . It does not feel heavy to depress
