98% of all Land Rovers built are still on the road.
The other 2% made it home.
Cost difference between Britpart and Genuine seals: £2.04. Knowing that your brakes won't fail at any moment: Priceless.
Disco has 1 LH thread and 3 RH thread tie rod ends. The front drop arm from the steering box to the LH knuckle can be fitted back to front, IE you may or may not have a LH thread tie rod end at the steering box end, it could be at the other. Best bet is to replace the lot, in 1 hit.

any idea how to get em off? on tighter then buggery, and yes i removed the 11mm nut and pipe clamp, i also removed the 19mm bolt and with a hammer and removed it from the nuckle i chucked a spanner closed end on it and gave it a bit both ways but dont seem to move , rusted in ya think? im not sure they were ever changed in its life time
The ends have a split, I find if you use a blunt chisel to widen that, drop some penetrating oil in and give some heat that they will come out with a bit of effort.
Also just hitting the rod down on the split can allow the threads to unstick a bit.
They can be very tight though, I have, believe it or not, sheared a TRE off leaving the threaded section in the rod, that one was very tight!
chisel in the split, heat it up, lube it up. Mine were super seized so I clamped one TRE in a vice and put a long pipe (jack handle) over the thread of the opposite TRE which gave me more than enough leverage to wind it out.
They are 11/16" x 16tpi UNS. When you put them back, if you don't replace with new, clean the threads with a tap and a die and coat them with Loctite Antiseize.
