    Nomad valve body for the ZF4HP22

    Hi guys,
    I spoke to Wholesale Automatics in October regarding the Nomad valve body for our transmissions, but they did not have the part.

    Today when i rang up to volunteer as guinea pig, they stated that they indeed did do a nomad valve body for our auto trannies. They had apparently started making it in November.

    Was anyone here the guinea pig?

    Does anyone have the Nomad valve body fitted?

    If so, is it any good?

    It's a replacement (or maybe modded exchange) valve body for the "grey nomad" 3T+ towing market. Hence the name.

    I am wondering if it is the 4HP22E in the D2, not the 4HP22 in the D1 that they are doing?

    I priced one for a 4hp22 in an RRC. $1195 exchange / do yours. You can remove the valve body yourself and send it to them. They did not have any valvebodies for the RRC 4hp22 in stock. Bloke I spoke to was very good, happy to answer my technical questions, no frills.

    I quite prefer to have my own parts done rather than accept a part from something else. At least what I have is a known.

    turnaround is about 1 day, plus express postage. so feasibly could be done within the week if sent on monday express post.
    Roads?.. Where we're going, we don't need roads...
